    Moody head coach Matt Glover stepped down after three seasons with the Blue Devils last week. His bittersweet resignation came to light early last Thursday morning after finding out the Jefferson County Board of Education had approved his position as head coach at 6A Pinson Valley.
  • Pell City Racer Wins Two Events at Barber
    Last weekend Barber Motorsports Park hosted the National Auto Sport Association (NASA) races, held a classic car show and a Lotus owners’ gathering. The weekend included several classes of races and an endurance race on Saturday.

    This spring, the Ashville Bulldogs hired a new head football coach, James Robert “Bubba” Walls, and principal Jason Baker said he was happy to bring on board someone with a proven track record.

    On May 21 and 22, Springville High School baseball coaches will be offering second through sixth graders a chance to hone their skills on the diamond at the 2009 SHS Youth Baseball Camp.

    On Monday, the 5A Springville Lady Tigers were downed 3-1 by 6A Gardendale on the road.
